Windy City

Heading to Chicago tonight for good friend Danalee's birthday weekend and so looking forward to it. Was there just last month for a weekend working as my roommate Dorian's assistant (a.k.a sherpa) for her side-business filming non-profit documentaries. Definitely not bad gig to get a free trip for working out my camera-equipment-carrying muscles, holding the reflection thingy at just the right angle, validating the talented camera woman, and providing comic relief to try and relax the nervous interviewees. So in anticipation of my return to the lovely windy city, thought I'd share some pics I took from the last visit...

I love Chicago's art (see me in the reflection?), waterways, nature, and architecture ...all in the same block.

Fun fountain--different faces appear, smile, become serious I can only assume to add to the dramatic effect, and then spew forth water to the anticipating delighted crowd of splashing children below.

It looks like a fun place, and your pics are great. We change planes there next week, but I'm sure we won't get same view as you!
